Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip

The surreal musical comedy of Leeds’ most original thinker and performer, fresh from sweeping all before him at summer festivals round the country, he offers up his thoughts on subjects ranging from Jimmy Savile to betting shop pens.

The Resplendents

At the heart of this 8-piece is a rhythm section inspired by the funk and soul of Detroit and Memphis but with one foot firmly planted in Yorkshire. Rich vocal harmonies and duelling saxes combine to create a super smooth silky soul sound that swings us into the Saturday sunset.

Drumming workshops for all ages from “Daft as a Drum”, in the back room of the Methodist Hall.

The Methodist Church will also be running their usual café in the Church Hall
and displaying children’s art arising from their “Laughing Jesus” exhibition, plus
work from Stainbeck Arts Group

The Alcuin School is hosting an array of childrens activities ranging from a disco on the Friday evening to a ceramic workshop on Saturday. Find out more here.
